- How to get hired
- Apply as a Specialist first. The people at the Genius Bar are getting there through the ranks now unless an applicant has exceptional direct industry consultant experience.
- Know your stuff and be able to demonstrate that you know your stuff.
- Be comfortable admitting the stuff you don't know and indicate a willingness to learn.
- Be a happy Apple Consumer, but not a slavering fanboy.
- Be personable. They want someone who is a people person.
- Where the competition is fierce, the only way to get in may be to work part time on the floor, work your way up to full time, and then work your way up to the Genius Bar.
